It's that time for the Christmas tree to go. It was a nice tree, but there's cobwebs and fir needles everywhere so it's outta here. I just assumed taking a tree down was just the reverse putting it up. It was a little difficult coming inside because it was wider than our front door. So my husband cuts it apart in the living room.
He used loppers to cut all the branches off, and then leaned it over so I could take the ornaments and lights off the top part. (I was too lazy to go get a ladder). With no branches it was really easy for him to carry outside. And then we cleaned up the mess, and now I have a normal living room again.
